Our Indented Cylinder is an efficient solution for sorting seeds and grains. This separator is used for calibrating seeds by length.
The grains passes from the inlet shaft inside of the rotating cylindrical housing, a complex structure of two segments, covered with pocket shaped indents. The grains that imbibed in the indents, will be lifted up and then due to gravity, will fall out of the pockets, and will be discharged by a screw conveyor out of the indented cylinder. Every particle bigger than the indents will remain inside the rotating segment and carried to the outlet where will be emptied into the outlet casting.
