Gravity Table

Description

Our Gravity Tables are used for sorting seeds similar in size with different relative weights. The separation is performed on the principle of vibration and air circulation. A fan creates an air “layer” where lighter particles “float” and are directed down the slope of the screen. The heavier particles remain involved with the screen which through vibrations transfers them to the upper a part of the working area.

On the highest of the dome fabricated from fiberglass, there’s a gap for aspiration and two inspection windows. The apparatus has three outlets- one for the clean product, the second for the unwanted impurities. The third outlet is for an optional second pass of a fraction that also contains impurities and can be either open or close. The inclinations of the frame which are specific for every product is easily regulated.

This type of gravity table is typically installed for processing crops that don’t create dust. Its method of separation incorporates several small valves which will be adjusted independently from one another. This allows the separation of more fractions and makes the setting more precise.
