Marigold / Calendula Seeds are a new addition to the MallAgro online seed collection. Marigold grows perfectly in areas that have full solar heating. A perennial plant is grown as a very useful herb or a beautiful flower. Its colors are deep yellow to orange-yellow. They are harvested when fully bloomed and dried at room temperature. Once they are completely dry and broken they are ready for storage, otherwise, they will mold. Marigold has antimicrobial, cleansing, and anti-allergic action. It is edible and can be added to salads and garnishes. It is easy to grow, it is not demanding, but it grows best in a sunny place and rich, loose soil. It does not tolerate very low temperatures and heat. It needs regular irrigation also can be grown in a pot. It needs more frequent watering but is generally grown extremely easily. Marigold can self-sow. This frees you from the “commitment” to collect calendula seeds to sow again in spring. Sow April – May outdoors. Reaches a height of 40cm. It blooms from June to October.
