The stem has a highly branched rhizome, reaching 60 – 120 cm in height. The leaves and flowers contain essential oil with a pleasant lemon scent. It is used as a healing agent and spice in perfumery and cosmetics. Nursing is propagated both generatively by seeds and vegetative by dividing the rhizomes.
The main way to propagate the hub is by producing seedlings of seed in open beds. Direct sowing is only recommended under irrigation conditions. It is winterized in October – November or early spring in rows at a distance of 60 cm. The seeds germinate in spring. In non-irrigated conditions, seedling cultivation is recommended.
